Mark Shaw, a public defender, grows frustrated with his struggles to achieve justice. His uncle introduces him to the ancient society of the Manhunters, skilled warriors dedicated to taking down criminals. Embracing their cause, Mark becomes the new Manhunter, donning the mask and costume of his predecessor, and launches a crusade against a notorious gangster known as "the Hog."
